John Wisniewski responded to the strike of AT&T called by the Communications Workers of America due to of the company’s refusal to come to the table and negotiate fairly with the union:
“I support the CWA in its efforts to get what they deserve – a living wage that will allow them to support their families and put food on the table. AT&T must come back to the bargaining table and negotiate in good faith.
“This is systematic of how workers in this nation are being treated everyday. Corporations like AT&T have a responsibility to pay better wages and benefits to their employees. As governor, I will provide a voice to the workers that have been shut out of the power structure in Trenton. It is time to add weight to the balance power so the state government actually works for the people and not against them.”
